In this course, you will gain an introductory understanding of accounting. Following an introduction to accounting standards, the components of an annual report and the primary financial statements, the course will discuss key accounting principles, the key qualitative reports, and address concepts such as liquidity and leverage. The objectives of the course are:

  • To help you gain a basic understanding of accounting concepts, techniques and principles
  • To increase your familiarity with financial statements
  • To help you carry out a review of the financial standing of a company by looking at the annual report and assessing its solvency

By completing this course, you can prepare to take the Delos Certificate on Introductory Damages & Valuation Issues.
